My client is looking to recruit a permanent member of staff to start in Jan/Feb 2020 (ongoing locum vet considered in the meantime):
This role would be suitable for an enthusiastic and positive-thinking person with the ability to problem-solve efficiently, and work both individually and as part of a team. Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues are highly desirable, and the confidence to share knowledge and participate in meetings are vital to success within the practice.
Support within the practice is second to none as our client assists with their employees' development through induction, mentoring and CPD, as well as encouragement to pursue certificate advancements.
Five days of CPD per year with a £1,500 budget is supplied in addition to paid memberships from the RCVS, BVA and Veterinary Defence Society. They also offer 33 days' holiday per year (5 weeks and 8 bank holidays, with any bank holidays on-call taken back as a day in lieu) as well as paid sick leave and locum insurance. Salary up to £31,000-£42,000, dependent on experience.
This role would be suitable for a new or recent graduate - they use the GradstoVets programme over their first year.
If you're interested for more details, then please get in touch.
