Our client in Surrey is looking to recruit a 2nd vet to join their independent small animal veterinary practice.
The practice was established in January this year and has gone strength to strength since. The practice has an ultrasound, x-ray, dental x-ray, and Lab (Idexx) and they have plans for an endoscope and a CT scanner in the near future.
They have a large waiting area (separate for dogs and cats), three consulting rooms, two theatres, a large prep area, extra room for a CT scan, a dog ward, a cat ward, an isolation room and a staff room.
About the Role
The role is full-time, working 4 days a week (9 am - 7 pm). You will work 1 in 2 Saturdays (9 am - 1 pm). There are no OOHs to ensure a healthy work/life balance.
Reporting to: Lead Vet
An essential requirement is to have at least one (1) year of experience gained in small animal practice.
The ideal candidate must be capable of keeping to 15-minute consultations. Competent in clinical examination and routine surgery. This role will suit someone with a keen interest in surgery. The ideal candidate will enjoy building strong relationships with patients and clients. Be confident working in a team and happy to support team members when necessary.
They are open to discussing a flexible working pattern for the right candidate.
Relocation can be supported/ sponsored.
Pay: £40-45K according to experience
