We are delighted to introduce a rare and exciting opportunity for an ophthalmologist to join our client’s certificate-led referral team in Leicestershire.
The role will involve working within the ophthalmology team, based within a 24/7 Hospital in Leicestershire and will include a combination of consulting and surgery.
The ophthalmology service is well-established with a large network of clients. The team perform a wide-range of ophthalmology surgeries including cataract surgery. The hospital has all the latest gadgets to include CT machine, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, Phacoemulsification and advanced ophthalmology equipment, dedicated 24 hour nursing and vet teams, and much more.
The successful candidate will have completed a certificate in ophthalmology with advanced practitioner status preferred. You should work well in a team and be keen to support others in their development and learning in relation to ophthalmology.
** Salary: from £75,000 (DOE)
** Hours: 38 hours per week (over 4-5 days) with 1:3 weekends on-call
** Flexible working hours considered (part-time applicants considered)
