This reputable small animal Vet practice, with branches in both Essex and East London, are looking for a Lead Vet Surgeon to join their team. It is a full-time position, however part time working patterns will be considered. There is a shared weekend rota and no out of hours.
The role offers clinical freedom whilst working alongside a collaborative team, it is also primarily a clinical role. You will work closely with the Practice Manager and experienced Head Nurses.
The first practice has a team of 4 / 5 Vets and is going through refurbishments to include 5 consult rooms (incl. a separate one for cats), bright and quiet office space, and a dedicated staff room.
The second practice has a team of 1.5 Vets, a loyal client based and an established team.
Candidates suitable for this role must be enthusiastic and able to deliver a high standard of care to patients and clients. You must show good leadership skills within an evolving clinical environment.
Your role will be to help with the day-to-day management of clinical caseload whilst supporting the branches, mentoring the veterinary team (both clinically and non-clinical), and to continue improving the standards.
