A wonderful charity equine practice in Lincolnshire is looking for a vet to provide up to 12 months maternity cover from July/August (fixed term contract).
This role will provide first opinion clinical care to our clients rescued and rehabilitated horses, ponies, donkeys and mules, across two sites.
Working hours are 30 hours per week, with flexibility regarding working days (Monday Friday), between the hours of 8am 4.30pm with no OOH's. They have excellent onsite facilities, a beautiful countryside setting and in addition to the Vet Team you will be working alongside a caring and dedicated community of employees.
The caseload is varied to include the provision of routine healthcare, medical and orthopaedic work ups, plus emergency and welfare work. The charity has a strong focus on equine behaviour as well as clinical care. Access to a range of modern equipment will be available to carry out clinical work including treatment rooms with stocks, digital x-ray, ultrasound and video endoscopy. The charity also has an in-house laboratory.
They offer a competitive annual salary of £41,736 £45,090 (this will be pro rata for part time hours), dependent on experience, with access to a variety of employee benefits such as; a health cash plan, enhanced annual leave options (including birthday leave) and a generous CPD allowance.
Accommodation can be provided if needed (there would be an expectation for OOH's if accommodation was provided).
