Lacey is currently working with a Small Animal Veterinary practice who are looking for an experienced Vet Surgeon to join their well-established practice with a warm, supportive team environment. The clinic offers an independent feel while benefiting from the resources and professional development opportunities provided through a larger group.

You will be working alongside an experienced team of vets, RVNs, student nurses, receptionists and a dedicated Practice Manager, all committed to delivering outstanding patient care.


The Role:
**Fixed-term maternity cover from Monday 2nd March 2026 until July 2026, with potential for extension
**4-day week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (8:30am–6:30pm)
**1 in 3 Saturdays: 8:30am–12:00pm (TOIL provided)
**No out-of-hours or on-call
**Varied caseload with a mix of consulting and surgery in a well-equipped, busy practice
**Flexible working considered – a 3-day week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) plus the Saturday rota is available for the right candidate
