About This Role
My client has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their supportive, well-established team in Lancashire. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with no out-of-hours or overnight inpatient checks — offering an excellent work–life balance.
**Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience required
**Full time – 40 hours per week
**1 in 4 Saturdays only
**No OOH or overnight checks
You will be working in a purpose-built, RCVS-accredited practice with advanced diagnostic facilities
The team includes 3 Vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 VCAs, plus a dedicated front-of-house team. The branch has separate dog, cat, and exotic wards. It is a purpose-built, fully air-conditioned practice designed to industry-leading standards and provides outstanding clinical care. Facilities include:
**Digital & dental X-ray
**Ultrasound
**Imagyst cytology
**Capnography
**Three consulting rooms
**Large, modern treatment area
**Access to laparoscopy and advanced dermatology services
**Support from a visiting orthopaedic service

This position allows you to use your nursing skills to their fullest, including admissions and discharges, monitoring anaesthesia, inpatient care and recovery and theatre support.
Working closely with ANAs and the SVN to manage patient preparation and theatre turnaround
