    About This Role

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a thriving and expanding independent practice in the beautiful county of Cornwall.

    • Competitive salary based on experience, up to £65,000 for FTE certificate holders
    • A true work-life balance with a 4-day working week
    • 15-minute consults
    • A fair and manageable out-of-hours rota: 1 week on-call in 10 (no day shifts during that week) and just 1 Saturday morning clinic every 20 weeks

    This well-established, RCVS-accredited mixed practice is looking to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic vet to their dedicated small animal team. This role would suit someone with 3–4+ years of experience, including certificate holders, who enjoys working collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

    The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and supportive team of 9 small animal vets and 13 nurses (FTE), in a modern, spacious premises equipped with excellent facilities including two theatres, separate dog and cat wards, a dental suite, in-house lab, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, ECG, and endoscopy.

    Set in a stunning rural location, the practice offers the best of both worlds — surrounded by countryside with easy access to Cornwall’s famous coastline, and within reach of Exeter, Plymouth, the A30, and M5.
