About This Role
My client runs a busy, family-owned, community-focused practice with a reputation for high-quality care and a supportive culture. The clinical team includes experienced vets, skilled nurses, and dedicated reception staff. The practice is undergoing a large-scale refurbishment and rebrand, with modern facilities and all the high-end equipment you’d expect in a state-of-the-art environment.
They are looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their thriving practice at a pivotal and exciting time. With a major refurbishment and rebrand on the horizon, this role offers genuine autonomy and the chance to help shape the future of the practice.
The role is full time working 4 days per week with a 1 in 3 Saturday rota.
This position is ideal for an experienced Vet who enjoys leading a clinical team while keeping their main focus on clinical excellence. You’ll have the full support of an experienced Practice Manager and hands-on Owners who handle much of the non-clinical management, allowing you to concentrate on delivering outstanding care.
The Role includes: **Leading and supporting a strong and stable clinical team, including mentoring and developing junior vets **Taking on more complex cases while sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues **Collaborating with the Owners and Practice Manager to drive clinical standards and practice performance **Help shape the future direction of the practice, with potential partnership available for the right candidate
