We work closely with the PDSA and their Hospital in Merseyside is looking for a dedicated RVN to join their team on a full-time basis.
• Salary – £26,655 - £31,027 per annum
• Hours – 37.5 hours per week
• Contract – Full Time, Permanent
• Flexible working options available!
This PDSA provides vital veterinary care to pets whose owners would otherwise be unable to afford treatment. With a focus on impact over targets, it delivers high-quality care in a supportive and pragmatic environment.
This position offers a diverse and engaging workload, including consultations, in-patient care, medication dispensing, and theatre support, including Schedule 3 procedures. The successful candidate will be confident in communication, collaborative, and passionate about sharing skills and promoting the organisation's mission.
The hospital in Merseyside is modern and well-equipped, typically featuring separate dog and cat kennels, radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases, and extensive orthopaedic equipment. The team includes a wide range of clinical interests, encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration. A flexible approach to rotas is in place, with enhanced pay and compensatory time off for weekend shifts.
Candidates must be qualified RVNs with a proactive and adaptable approach. The role requires strong communication skills, a team-focused mindset, and a drive to support both patient care and the charity’s broader mission.
