My client in Liverpool needs a Permanent Nurse Team Leader to join their team. They are a large supportive team in a busy hospital, so there's always someone to learn from and there's lots of interesting cases. They love to develop and support each other, particularly in pragmatic decision making and surgical development.
They have a wellbeing team that organises little activities for the team and have weekly team huddles, where they all get together for an hour to work through things as a team. They love a lunch buffet.
Work-life balance is very important to them at PDSA, shifts are 7.5 hours long. The earliest you will start is 8.30am and the latest you will finish is 6.30pm. Weekend working is limited to 1 in 12 with time off in lieu the following week. They are happy to explore flexible and/ or part time working opportunities.
They understand the importance of personal growth, but also that this means different things to different people. They want to support their employees on this journey, whether it be developing clinical skills, or working towards management goals.
Benefits
25 days holiday per year (pro rata) with options to buy and sell holiday
Paid Bank Holidays
Annual wellbeing day
Contributory pension scheme
CPD of 2 days and £500 per year
Wide range of staff discounts
Up to £27,004 DOE
They are a great career choice for those who want to spend their time caring for animals and promoting responsible pet ownership. So, if you’re ready for a challenge and would like to work for one of the Sunday Times Top 100 Non-Profit organisations, I look forward to talking to you.
