My client in Cheshire has an exciting opportunity for a part time Registered Veterinary nurse to join their friendly team.
This is a part-time role working a 20-hour week over 2 days, between 8am and 8pm, however with working hours we can be flexible.
The role requires working 1 in 7 Saturdays from 9am 5pm which will be paid as overtime. The practice is closed on Sundays and Bank holidays plus there will be no out of hours required for this role.
They are a friendly, customer service focused practice located in the beautiful Cheshire Countryside. Close to Chester, Liverpool and the M56 motorway, they attract clients from far and wide. They are also equipped with digital X-ray, Ultrasound and in house laboratory with Idexx Lasercyte, Catalyst and Snapshot and are an extremely busy practice with a large client base, with nearly 2,000 pets on our pet Health club.
Whether on ward, surgery, admitting and discharging patients, nurse clinics or assisting the vets in prep/consult, your day will be challenging but enjoyable! They pride themselves on their patient and customer care and supporting the reception team is essential by answering the telephone and assisting with customer queries.
They have 7 vets (6 full time and 1 part time), currently 5 RVN's (3 full time and 2 part time) and 2 ANA's (Full time).
The ideal candidate would be an experienced RVN, preferably from a small animal background, comfortable with all aspects of veterinary nursing and confident dealing with clients on a regular basis.
They are looking for someone with a passion for patient and client care, who can multitask with ease and is flexible in day-to-day responsibilities. They would be looking to pay a minimum salary of £25,000 Pro rata for an RVN with one or more years' experience but would accept applications from new graduates and less experienced Vet nurses.
