We work closely with the PDSA, a special organisation providing expert veterinary care across the UK. Their Hospital in Hull is looking for a registered vet nurse to join them permanently on a part-time basis!
• Salary up to £31,027 per annum.
• Part-time, 22.5 hours per week.

The right candidate would be an RVN who is up for a challenge and able to adapt to the PDSAs varied caseload. Confidence in communicating with a wide range of colleagues and clients is essential as is a willingness to share your skills and lead by example. Specifically, you will be involved in consultations, in-patient care, dispensing medications and assisting in theatre including schedule 3 surgery.
The work is fast-paced and challenging so they like to ensure you receive the work life balance that suits your needs as well as enabling the hospital to deliver an outstanding service.
Their teams usually have quite varied clinical interests, which means you’ll have access to a wide pool of knowledge and experience, with which to discuss cases and treatment plans. Hull PDSA is a modern hospital, well equipped with separate dog and cat kennelling facilities, in house radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, piped gases and extensive orthopaedic equipment. Due to their large team, they have a flexible approach to weekend rotas and any out of hours required, with enhanced pay and stand down time in the week when a weekend is worked.
