**On-call once every 6 weekends
I am looking for a full-time veterinary nurse to join my clients mixed practice on the Isle of Man. They are an 8 vet mixed practice, with a team of four full time and two part time nurses, supported by 1 kennel assistant, as well as a reception team.
The clinic is fully equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasonography, in house Idexx lab equipment and anaesthetic monitoring machine. Our nurses are fully involved in inpatient care.
The Isle of Man is an amazing place to live! You’re never more than 10 minutes from either leisure pursuits, or local amenities, the countryside or the beach. The community feel of the island is demonstrated by the low crime rates and a high standard of living is made even better with a significantly lower income tax rate than on the mainland.
The role will be full time (37.5 hour week), including 1 in 2 Saturday mornings. On call is 1 night per week, 1 weekend in 6 and 2 bank holidays per year. On call is generally quiet. There may be some reception work required as cover during busy times.
