Emillies client, a small animal practice in Warwickshire, is seeking a friendly and committed Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their fabulous team!
• Salary up to £30,000 (DOE)
• 6-month maternity cover
• 30 hours per week
• 1 in 5 Saturday rota
• No OOHs or sole charge!
The practice is RCVS accredited, who have also achieved cat and dog friendly status. Their opening hours are 8am-6:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am-12:30pm on Saturdays. There is no OOHS or sole charge required with this role, as they strive for excellent work-life balance and value the well-being of their team. They hold regular social events throughout the year and have fruit Tuesdays, along with home baked cakes mixed in between!
Their current team consists of 5 vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN and 4 very helpful receptionists. One of their vets holds a general small animal certificate and another is working towards a surgical certificate. They need an RVN to cover 6 months maternity leave, circa 30 hours per week, but will consider other options for the right candidate. Saturdays will be on a 1:5 rota.
They like to actively encourage nurses to use and develop their skills and progress in other areas such as clinical coaching, certificates, and schedule 3 procedures. Your working week will be split for a day in surgery, a day on consultations and inpatient/recoveries, however they are open to looking at this if you have a particular passion in one area.
Their range of benefits includes:
• 6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays (pro-rata)
• £600.00 CPD and 3 days allowance per annum (pro-rata)
