Vet Vacancy at independent practice near Glasgow

A friendly, single-site, independent small animal practice in Renfrewshire, near Glasgow, is currently looking for three Veterinary Surgeons to join their current team. You’ll be accompanied by three qualified RVNs, four receptionists, one VCA and one trainee vet nurse.
The practice was built 14 years ago and recently underwent extension, with new surgical and dental theatres added. They are equipped with digital radiography, dental radiography, ultrasound, and full Idexx biochemistry/haematology suite.

• Salary of £40,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• One week Tuesday to Friday, with alternating week of Wednesday to Saturday.
• Shifts are 8:30am to 6:30pm
• 1:2 Saturdays rota from 8:30am to 3:30pm
• No OOHs or Sundays
• 2 days with operations in the morning (negotiable)
• Additional Vet role of Part-time (10-15 hours per week) also on offer.

The practices out of hours service is provided by Glasgow University Hospital, who also cover all public holidays. In addition to your 4 day week, this provides excellent work-life balance which is valuable when working in a busy practice.
