An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Vet Surgeon to join a busy and supportive independent small animal practice in Cambridgeshire. This position offers the chance to become part of a close-knit team where the working environment feels more like family than corporate.
• Salary: £65,000 – £100,000 DOE, plus out-of-hours pay and bonuses
• Hours: Full-time, 45 hours/week
• Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:30 (flexible working considered)
• Out-of-hours/Weekends: Shared rota with the team
Established in 2018, the practice has earned a strong reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care with a personal approach. In addition to routine services, the team also provides 24-hour emergency cover and has invested in modern diagnostic equipment to manage and support a broad spectrum of cases.
Facilities include:
• Digital radiography
• Full in-house Idexx laboratory equipment
• Ultrasound and endoscopy
• Multi-parameter monitoring
• Dedicated theatre suite
This role offers a varied caseload ranging from routine consultations to more complex surgical procedures. It is ideal for a confident, RCVS-registered vet who values both clinical excellence and a collaborative, friendly workplace.
