Laceys client, a Vibrant South Coastal practice in Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Veterinary Surgeon! Would you like to work alongside their close-knit, experienced team?

• Salary up to £70,000
• Full-time, 39 hours per week (or part-time 3 days per week)
• Saturday mornings 9-12pm on a 1 in 3 rota basis
• No OOH requirements!

As their new colleague you will be working alongside a full-time vet, a dedicated practice owner, and another experienced vet currently completing a surgery certificate and planning to pursue VetGDP Adviser training. The team is further supported by regular locums and seasoned vets who bring a wealth of clinical insight.

The nursing team offers over 30 years of combined experience, with many team members starting their careers here. The Head Nurse and Clinical Coach, who has been with the practice since 2007, has mentored numerous students over the years and continues to be a core pillar of the team. Further support staff includes a dedicated Practice Manager and a warm and welcoming client care team.

An independently operated, RCVS-accredited practice, it is situated in a vibrant coastal region known for its parks, beaches, and strong community ties. The practice is well-equipped with modern diagnostic tools, including a brand-new ultrasound machine, direct plate radiography, and a K-laser for therapeutic treatments.

Plans are underway for a full refurbishment, aiming to further expand and modernize the facility—making this an ideal time to join a forward-thinking team committed to continuous improvement.

Despite being a busy GP practice, the team works at a manageable, steady pace with a structured diary designed to support timely finishes and manageable workloads. Consults are typically 15 minutes but are extended for more complex cases and for new colleagues. Collaboration is at the heart of the practice culture, and second opinions are readily available.

The role offers excellent flexibility, with both full-time (39 hours/week) and part-time (3 days/week) options available. A typical full-time rota includes 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9–12 pm), with a day off each week, no out-of-hours, paid overtime, and protected admin time.

The team is looking for a friendly, communicative vet with solid GP experience and a team-first attitude. While experience is valued, applications are welcomed from vets at varying stages of their careers who share a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

What’s on Offer:
• 28 days holiday, rising to 33 after 2 years
• Paid professional memberships (RCVS, VDS)
• CPD allowance and time off, including support for certificates
• Life assurance at 4x salary
• Contributory pension scheme
• Cycle to work scheme
• Access to exclusive retail and lifestyle discounts!

This is a rare opportunity to join a truly collaborative, locally rooted practice in a beautiful coastal region, where professional development and work-life balance are genuinely prioritized.
