Small, Mixed or Equine only opportunity in Berkshire

An independent mixed practice (50% Equine and 50% Small Animal work) are looking to recruit a new member of staff to start ASAP.

They are situated in Berkshire and have easy access to main transport links with London, Reading, Southampton, Oxford, Winchester and Swindon.

Working hours run from 8.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and each vet has a half day once a week from 1pm.

All of their vets take part in an equal share of their 1 in 4 on-call rota (very quiet).
There are no routine surgeries on Saturdays and Sundays.
25 days holiday a year plus Bank Holidays.
Vets receive a 10% turnover bonus for out of hours work.
Each vet has RCVS, VDS, BSAVA or BEVA and BUPA paid for.
5 days of CPD are paid for and certificate study is supported.
All vets are provided with a mobile phone for work and vets doing equine work are provided with a commercial vehicle.
There is no accommodation with this role and the salary level takes this into account.
Salary is according to experience and type of work done for the practice, is regularly bench marked and is competitive.
