Dans client based in Scotland are in search of a head RVN for their team.
For this role you are at the heart of the operation, leading the nursing team as well as the reception and auxiliary team, you will also control, the recruitment, selection and development side of things.
The duties/responsibilities of this role include;
• Maintain the standards set in accordance with RCVS guidelines
• Be responsible for the supervision and management of the nursing team whilst following the RCVS guidelines.
• Approve overtime and report to superiors one week before the end of the month.
• Provide clinical consistent and clear leadership as a mentor to staff
• provide clinical training and mentoring to nursing and auxiliary staff as required
there are also management roles involved in this position which are as follows;
identify training needs of team members both current and new, providing the appropriate recourses to promote and ensure career growth with the team.
Be responsible for the management of performance and the resolution of grievance and disciplinary issues.
Assisting the PM with Responding and resolving client complaints and queries and do so in a time efficient manner.
Be responsible for ensuring through the team, effective stock management and control the undertaking of stock takes adhering to the practice policies.
