We are working with a long-standing London-based animal welfare charity, who are seeking a Part-Time Vet Surgeon to join their team in a busy community and shelter clinic.
• Part Time (21 hours/week)
• Hours: Thurs–Sat | 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm

This is a great opportunity for a Vet who’s passionate about animal welfare and making a difference in the lives of pets and owners who may have limited access to veterinary care. Whether you’re experienced in shelter medicine or a new graduate with a strong interest in the charity sector, you’ll be supported by a committed, collaborative team.
The Role:
• Provide clinical care to shelter animals and community outpatients
• Diagnose, treat, and perform surgery across a varied caseload
• Collaborate with RVNs and care teams to manage inpatient treatment plans
• Participate in a shared (low-demand) on-call rota for animals in the charity’s care
• Offer advice and support to clients with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain high clinical and welfare standards in line with RCVS codes
Further benefits:
• RCVS + VDS fees covered
• Funded CPD
• Supportive, animal-first culture
• Opportunity to contribute to ongoing clinic improvements and protocols
You’ll be working in a well-equipped, modern clinic with x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, in-house lab and surgical suites. The work is meaningful, varied, and always focused on what’s best for the animals.
