A well-regarded veterinary charity in Essex is currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their modern hospital on a part-time, temporary basis (32 hours per week).
• Part-time, Temporary role.
• Hours: 32 per week.
• Flexible weekend rota and out-of-hours arrangements are in place.
• Enhanced pay and stand-down time during the week following weekend shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified veterinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys handling a varied caseload. The ideal candidate will be confident in clinical decision-making, demonstrate strong communication skills, and support the wider team by sharing expertise and leading by example. The role supports the organisation’s mission to provide high-quality veterinary care with a strong emphasis on efficiency and resourcefulness.
The hospital in Essex offers a supportive team environment with clinicians who have a wide range of interests, allowing for regular collaboration on complex cases. The hospital facilities include separate dog and cat kennelling, in-house radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy, Piped gases and a full range of orthopaedic equipment.
