Veterinary Surgeon vacancy - Full Time, Permanent
£36,286 - £50.790 (incl. all allowances) per annum
37.5 hours per week
About the Role:
PDSA are now seeking a Veterinary Surgeon (VS) at their Gillingham hospital in Kent, the role is responsible for the delivery of an efficient, professional and caring service to PDSA clients, providing a high standard of customer service and clinical care whilst also promoting pet wellbeing and delivering preventive services.
Within the hospital there are 5 consulting rooms; a dedicated theatre; a separate dental area; large prep area; imaging suite with digital radiography, ultrasound and endoscopy; piped gases; extensive orthopaedic equipment and a supportive team of experienced Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Care Assistants.
All staff have the opportunity to work to their full potential: Registered Veterinary Nurses routinely perform consultations and Schedule 3 procedures within their capabilities and we are a registered Student Veterinary Nurse training practice, and this benefits the Vets to have this hands on support in all cases.
