Lacey’s client are an Independent Small Animal practice in North West London, seeking a part time permanent Vet to assist their team and provide their clients with an excellent service.
This is a part time role, ideally working just 2 days per week (Thurs/Fri) although there is possibility to discuss more days/hours and other days. There is also a Saturday rota of 1;2, but no OOHs currently.
The practice is being taken over, so will have a fresh mind and drive for the business to develop the already loyal client base.
Opening hours are 8am-7pm, with consult starting at 9am – 11am, and 4pm-7pm each day, there will also be daily procedures/surgeries during the day, so you must be happy with all clinical, medical and surgical duties expected within a first opinion practice, and therefore should be a minimum of 2-3 years qualified.
You will have the opportunity to work up all your cases to a high standard and have continuity of care over your patients where possible. Although there are currently no OOHs, if you enjoyed this type of work and would be interested in covering this is something that could be brought in house to offer a more continuous service to clients and their patients, with critical cases still being able to be seen by Vets Now.
You will be working Sole Charge on the 2 days per week, but alongside a great team of 1 other Vet (working 3 days per week), 2 RVNs and 2 dedicated receptionists.
Salary offers will be reflective of experience and are open for negotiation.
