Are you an experienced Vet Surgeon looking to work nights? Perhaps in the picturesque channel islands? Join a dedicated team in a dynamic and supportive environment, whilst enjoying a work life balance that allows for restful nights off.
A Practice dedicated to looking after the island’s animals for more than a century, with a team and range of services that have grown and advanced over the years. Taking pride in the commitment to the well-being of animals and maintaining a strong connection with the local community.
About the role:
• Competitive salary
• Accommodation provided
• 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off schedule (great work-life balance).
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Providing exceptional veterinary care to small animals during night shifts
• Collaborate with our skilled team of veterinarians and support staff
• Diagnose and treat emergency cases
• Monitor hospitalized patients and perform necessary procedures
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans
You must have:
• MRCVS
• Veterinary licensure in Jersey or eligibility for licensure
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for providing the best possible care to animals
You’ll be working in a RCVS accredited Practice that boasts a well-equipped hospital offering a range of advanced services. Partnered with 2 other branches on the island.
Become part of a progressive practice with a strong support for CPD, ensuring access to continued learning and growth opportunities. As an island practice, that treats more complex cases in-house, exposure to a large variety of work is guaranteed. Fantastic team consisting of 22 Vets, a dedicated team of Night Vets, with support from skilled RVN’s and Admin Team.
Jersey, known for its stunning landscapes, is a fantastic place to live and work.
