Are you a skilled in external and internal Marketing Strategies?

My client is currently seeking a forward thinking and creative individual to join their ambitious vision for the growth of their business.

Boasting 47 veterinary practices and three animal hospitals, they are a well-established family owned veterinary group, who have a strong presence within the veterinary field across London.

Situated within East London / Essex borders, you will be required to travel to various sites throughout London.

The remit of the role is broad and subsequently requires applications from individuals who will be able to deliver Group objectives into clear and carefully coordinated plans.

Marketing is predominantly focused around their services and seeks to deliver both new client acquisition whilst focusing on existing client retention.

Along with a high degree of autonomy will come accountability for the performance of this department.

The right candidate will need to critically assess the many opportunities for development of the clients marketing and communication activities, so as to focus on those which will generate the best-balanced returns for the Group.

Most of the marketing is coordinated centrally, being applied consistently across the Group.

You will be required to work alongside their Regional Management to create bespoke campaigns, which will achieve specific objectives for individual or Groups of practices.

As part of this position you will be required to act as line manager for their administration team, who manage the Group’s pet healthcare plan.

About you:

The right candidate will be responsible for both the development, implementation and monitoring of all key marketing activities, whilst managing contracts with external agencies.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree-level marketing qualification.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to use initiative and provide problem solving skills.

The right candidate will have experience using software packages including Word and Excel.

You must be able to demonstrate a Minimum of three years’ experience, working in a marketing or communications role.
