Full Time Lead Veterinary Surgeon Role at Independent Practice in North West London

Lacey’s client is a well-established independent private practice, in North West London, offering high standards of veterinary services to their loyal and friendly clients.

They are seeking an experienced Vet to join their team, in a Lead/Senior position. Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years experience, so you have confidence in all routine surgery, medicine and emergency work. An interest in Dentistry would be preferable (although not essential). You must also be able to support colleagues and lead the clinical team.

The Practice is well equipped with; Digital CR dental radiography, a separate dental suite, Full in house lab (IDEXX), Ultrasound, Endoscopy and bronchoscopy, Multi parameter monitoring, Tonometry, Theatre suite, Four consulting rooms (two cats and two dogs), Separate cat and dog entrances/reception/consulting rooms and wards, RxWorks practice management system, plus a separate quiet room for end of life discussions and care. The practice have visiting specialists in both cardiology and imaging as well as more complex soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.

Being independent, the practice can work in a flexible way to ensure they provide the best service for their clients. They offer longer consulting times (20-30 mins) and call back times to enable client education and expectations are managed. Vets have Scheduled time for surgery as well as client communication, lab results and ongoing care.

They are open from 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm on Saturdays. Closed on Sundays, and the role would be working 3 – 4 days per week with 1:3 Saturdays (with TOIL offered).
