RVCS accredited small animal training practice in Cornwall has a brilliant opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their very friendly and supportive team!
• Salary up to £60,000 FTE, DOE.
• Flexible hours, can be discussed to achieve good work-life balance.
• Shared weekend rota 1:3 Saturdays (routine appointments only, no ops).
• 15-minute consults as standard with 30 minutes given for more complicated cases or for graduates.
• Ideally has solid GP experience
Bought by the practice owner in 2016, who is very proud of the team’s incredible continuous effort. Join a team that has grown together, whilst developing personally and professionally.
The practice has strengthened immensely since opening and is now tremendously successful, having built a great reputation within the community and providing excellent care to clients and consistently receiving 5-star feedback from loyal and new clients.
Many of the current team have been at the practice for over 4 years, and some for over 10. A result of valuing and providing excellent care to clients, but also to one another!
In addition to the practice managers support, you’ll have an outstanding team of nurses alongside you. Plus, an equally brilliant and welcoming team of 5 client care advisors and mental health first aider.
Days are structured well with 15-minute consults as standard with 30 minutes given for more complicated cases or for graduates. The practice has one vet operating each day, with their consults starting later in the afternoon. Ensuring there are plenty of on the day ‘run over breaks’ to catch up, as well as emergency slots. The manager prioritises regular catch ups during the week to discuss cases, with scheduled clinical meetings held every 6 to 8 weeks.
Happy to discuss flexible hours with the right candidate, to help facilitate a good balance between home and work but will include a shared weekend rota of 1 in 3 Saturdays, which is kept to routine appointments with no ops.
Looking for a Vet with solid GP experience, someone that is a team player, has excellent communication skills and shares the same passion for providing only the highest level of veterinary care.
The practice was recently expanded and refurbished with a new building and equipment that offers a lovely bright environment to work in. All the equipment is as expected from a solid GP practice, with separate cat and dog wards and two theatres.
Based in an ideal location in Cornwall, surrounded by wonderful scenery and some of the best beaches in the country within 15-20 minutes’ drive. Great access to the A30 and the A390.
