Are you an enthusiastic Vet looking to join a great team in a fantastic location, then this might be the role for you! Laceys client in Buckinghamshire are looking for a Vet surgeon to join their hardworking and dedicated team.
• Salary of £55-70k pro rate (DOE)
• Full-time, 40 hours per week (will consider part-time)
• No OOHs
• 1 in 3 Saturdays (8am-6pm)
• Must be capable of working sole charge
Their current team consists of a practice owner and head vet, 1 part-time Vet, a Practice Coordinator, Head Nurse, 2 RVNs, 3 Student Nurses, 1 VCA and 3 Receptionists. They are also supported by an amazing team of locum vets and nurses, who work regular days with them, testament to the welcome and support they receive from their permanent colleagues.
Since opening 10 years ago, they have grown a lovely client base and have a varied caseload for a first opinion practice. They are proud to provide all clients with the highest level of clinical and client care in a professional and reliable manner.
Featuring a well-equipped operating theatre, multiple consult rooms, digital x-ray, an isolation unit, separate dog/cat wards, ultrasound, in house laboratory and laser therapy.
You will be working full-time, a total of 40 hours per week (however they will consider a part-time role). There is no OOHs required, and they can be flexible with days off and start and finish times, prioritising a good work/life balance throughout the team. The weekend rota is 1 in 3 Saturdays, working 8am-6pm, but this is open to discussion.
There is a mix of consults and operations, with time to build cases and develop your skills and bonds with clients.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced vet surgeon with great communication skills and a good grasp of working in a first opinion practice and capable of sole charge. You will be able to work well within a team who are always on hand to support one another. They believe in career development and will help you grow and achieve your career aspirations.
