Our client is looking for an experienced Vet Surgeon to join their dynamic practice in Kuwait! Are you interested in working overseas?
• Salary 2900 KWD pcm (min)
• Up to 48 hours per week

To be a successful applicant you must have a Degree in Veterinary medicine from a recognised institution and a minimum of five years postgraduate experience in the veterinary field. Additional background in small animal practice with competence and confidence in routine surgical procedures is preferred as the practice commonly sees pets, especially cats and dogs.
You must have proficiency in English, either a native speaker or minimum IELTS 6 or TOEFL 78-95 (or equivalent demonstrated in interviews). This is important as you must be able to explain treatment options, work effectively with colleagues and ensure clear understanding across their diverse client base.
The ideal candidate will obtain technical competence in surgical procedures, diagnostic imaging and comprehensive patient management and the ability to handle emergency situations, whilst making quick and effective decisions. Applicants must be adaptable and flexible within new environments and be able to handle varied cases, including potentially high-stress situations.
Additional Attributes desired (but not required):
• Advanced postgraduate certifications.
• Additional qualifications or certifications in specialised areas such as surgery or internal medicine are advantageous.
• NAVLE, MRCVS or equivalent
• Special interest in a particular veterinary subject.
• Willingness to see exotic species from time to time
• Previous overseas experience.
• Knowledge of Arabic or other language
• Willingness to help teach and develop support staff.
It is important in this role that you understand and respect local cultural practices, have empathy towards animals and their owners and the ability to work collaboratively within a team of varying nationalities and abilities.
