Our client in Kent have exciting plans to expand their modern small animal practice so have a permanent vacancy for a forward thinking, experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
This practice can offer a friendly working environment, varied caseload and state of the art equipment to utilise the skills you already have, whilst providing you with the opportunity to develop further, with encouragement and support for further interests, CPD and qualifications.
Many of the team have been with the practice for over 10 years (some as long as 18 years), so they are a great practice for retaining and supporting talent. They have a variety of interests within the clinical team, with 2 certificate holders in medicine and surgery. They would be keen to hear from vets that have a particular interest in surgery or diagnostic imaging, but this is not essential and other interests can also be considered.
The practice can offer all routine surgery to their clients, as well as soft tissue and some basic orthopaedics. They have all of the usual toys including digital X-ray and ultrasound, and can consider the purchase of further specialist equipment that will benefit your interest, the team and the practice.
This role can be considered on a full or part time basis (flexible to meet your needs), with a 1:3 shared weekend rota basis (although this is negotiable). There is minimal sole charge and no OOHs to ensure both a great work/life balance and the opportunity to discuss cases and ideas with colleagues.
Salary offers of up to £65,000 DOE plus many other benefits as expected from a major employer.
