Staffordshire practice seeking full-time Lead Vet Surgeon to join their team. Ideal role for those looking for bags of autonomy! Great opportunity to shape the future of a practice that pays up to £80,000 (FTE, DOE).

• Opportunity to lead a clinical team whilst still focusing on your own clinical work, with additional support from the practice manager and owners.
• You can have surgical bias and any specialisms will be supported
• 4 days a week, 1:3 Saturdays, no Sundays or OOHs.
• Join an experienced, stable team with some members belonging to the practice for over 20 years
• Newly refurbished practice, maintaining its family friendly feel.

The current team comprises of 4 vets, 6 Nurses, 3 receptionist and 2 practice managers.

Looking to welcome an enthusiastic and skilled Lead Vet Surgeon to join the team. In this fundamental role, you will work closely with the practice owners and be supported by a very experienced practice manager and clinical team to provide exceptional veterinary care to patients and clients, whilst mentoring junior vets aiding them to fulfil their full potential within the practice.

In an ideal world, you will have experience in more complicated surgical and medical cases to support junior members in the team. As Lead Vet, you’ll share advanced ideas with the practice partners to enhance performance and care standards, in addition to co-operating with the practice owners and manager to drive the practice forward.
