This family-owned, small animal, stand-alone practice in Worcestershire is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This is an ideal role for someone looking to do consults only and pays up to £70,000!
• Salary of up to £70,000, FTE.
• Only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (9am-12pm), no Sundays.
• No OOHs
• Certificates supported
• Part-time considered, with minimum 3 days per week.
• Short of long days considered, depending on candidate preference.
The practice owners themselves qualified from the Royal Veterinary College London in 2002. Both keen to share their knowledge and experience with their team. One has passed their small animal surgery certificate and the other has an interest in ultrasound scanning.
The team Is extremely supportive towards each other, and consists of 2 Vets, 3 fully qualified RVNs (including a HVN), 1 Student Nurse, a practice manager and 4 welcoming receptionists. The practice values providing an approachable feel, where everyone is welcome and a sense of humour is encouraged.
The practice has a brilliant reputation locally regarding their excellent standards of client and patient care. The building is spacious with an air-conditioned surgery which was purpose built to industry leading standards and is well equipped with a digital x-ray, ultrasound scanner, in house Idexx lab equipment and microscope.
They are looking for someone who radiates enthusiasm and provides superb standards of client and animal care, with a honest passion for animal welfare. You must be a strong team player with solid clinical skills and ideally you will have a medical/consult bias. Despite this, they’re open to accommodating someone who is just looking for a great GP role.

• Competitive salary based on experience up to £70,000 (DOE, FTE)
• Contributory pension scheme
• Fully funded CPD
• Professional membership paid for
• No OOHs or Sundays
